Becoming a Successful Beauty Blogger |
Posted: October 15, 2018 |
Most of us follow a number of bloggers, or vloggers per YouTube, and we never believe we could be as successful as they are. After all, these people work themselves based on their talents alone - it’s an impossible dream that belongs to all of us. However, every successful blogger had nothing but an idea and a computer. Becoming a beauty blogger is possible with hard work and a few key pieces of advice. Especially when you are working with hair and makeup, it is important to take great pictures. If you are looking to follow a beauty blogger but find that she leaves you with poor-quality or blurry pictures, you aren’t going to get much out of the experience. As a beauty blogger, you want to take the best pictures in order to show off your best looks. Once people can truly see how talented you are with hair and makeup or another visual design, they’re hooked. Connect with other beauty blogs. You do not have to simply say hello and drop your link - this is rarely a good idea - to make connections with other bloggers. Do not leave generic comments, but ones that really encourage other beauty bloggers and stand out from other ‘wow, great style’ type comments. If you are interested in working with other beauty bloggers or want them to share your links, videos, or products, email them directly. Blogging is more than just blogging. It becomes your brand, something worth bragging about because it is your passion. In order to become a true influencer in Bangladesh, internationally, or just in your local area, passion is your number one commodity. Make your blog into a small business. They aren’t mere Facebook photos with cute pictures, they represent you and your brand. We’ve seen mere blogs or vlogs become national brands - turn your passion into something big. Use other social media outlets to brag about your blog and expand this brand you’ve created. Maintain a Facebook page, a Twitter account, a YouTube account, and an Instagram account to reach as many new followers - or clients - as possible. You may like one outlet over another - Instagram photos can say a lot with so few words - but make sure you show your passion and your brand in everything you do. Never compare yourself to other bloggers, whether in the beauty industry or otherwise. Don’t think in numbers, but in quality of followers and quality of your own work. When you start your blog and unleash your quirkiness onto the world, this is the brand you’ll want to stick with. Create a blog that is uniquely you and watch it grow.
